Description
A historic piece of 1950s farm equipment!
1956 was simultaneously one of the best years and one of the worst years for International Harvester. On the one hand, they released a brand new, cutting-edge tractor – the 560 – and it was their best sales year ever.
On the other hand, due to a late-stage decision to put a bigger motor in that cutting-edge tractor to compete with Deere’s 730, many of them malfunctioned (went "kablooey") and they all had to be recalled, costing IH over $167 million in today’s dollars.
Celebrate history, innovation, and (ahem) problem-solving with this amazingly detailed, play-ready replica of a Farmall 560 tractor equipped with a pull-type disk tiller.
The body, wide-front axle, clamshell fenders, and tiller frame are made of heavy-duty die-cast metal. The tractor tires are soft to touch and the whole thing features the authentic IH red and white color scheme and graphics.
It’s a beauty to look at for collectors, and it’s a thrilling addition to any play farm!
Bring history to life with the 1/16 Farmall 56 Diesel Tractor and Disk Tiller set. (And don’t worry – This one won’t go kablooey.)
